Anyone knows the front springs length? I measured here this one from a 87 GZ20 Soarer is 340mm, the RSR are 290mm. If I remember correctly the ones on my 89 are 320mm. I always thought that if I wanted a 25mm drop the springs free length should only be about 12.5mm shorter than stock. Is there something wrong here ?

Another problem is the spring lower opening is too small, I cant fit it completely on the perch. Opening 63.5mm

old spring sits in perfectly, opening 66mm.

Just my luck . I thought I could just install this. I lodged a complaint with RHDJapan about these.
Any thoughts on the lengths ? Are these RSR downs (-1") or super downs (-2")?

Latest update, i decide to try fitting the RSR spring onto my old original 1989 TEMS shock, and it fits perfectly. Thats odd the earlier series shocks wont fit these springs.

The spring length also seems to be correct. I measure the distance from perch to bottom of rubber isolator mounted, its 279mm. The springs free length is 290mm, so its pressing against the bottom and the top when released.

So is it the KYB Super Special struts that the new springs are not fitting on?

They fit to my old tems shocks so these should fit on my new kyb tems. I will only work on my car the coming week as its not with me now.
