I've had great luck with akebono pads on all my vehicles.
So I paired the Mercedes brakes with EUR847.
They work excellent.
FYI they aren't racing pads though.

How do you like the akebono pads? Any noise? I noticed they're ceramic, do they make a lot of dust?

No all the Akebono pads I have used are virtually silent. Very little dust as well. Yes they are ceramic pads.

This is why I use them on all my vehicles, they are just a very good all around pad.

EBC's YellowStuff has worked well for me. If you don't mind dust and some noise, Porterfield R4 is the way to go for braking power.
