Hey guys, I recently put my Fluidampr harmonic balancer on and I noticed that it sticks out maybe 3/8" over the snout of the crank. I've looked a bunch and can't seem to find anything about this. Yes I know the plate that goes between the timing gear and harmonic balancer is missing. I'm just concerned that the balancer is not supposed to stick out that far.

It is the right way, with the part for the belt facing outwards. Spoke to someone else and they said their did that same thing. I guess it gets pushed in more when it gets torqued down.
