Please post a pic of how your engine bay looked when you started, and how it looks now. You can do the same for the exterior if you made a big improvement.

Maybe in a while we can have a vote and see who wins for "most improved mk3" for engine bay and exterior.

Please try to keep the pics 800x600 or smaller so the page does not look all crazy and take an hour to load. If you need pics resized or hosted I'll be happy to do it for you.

Here's mine to start it off:

WOW! All of those are nice, some you can't even tell it was the same car to begin with! I think this thread will give some hope and motivation to people just starting their projects as to how nice it can be with hard work and dedication.

Wow nice work everyone! Here is mine, it started out bone stock. I don't have a stock bay pic so the one I posted is a generic stock pic. But I do have the before exterior pics (except for the vents). She is still a work in progress....

Okay, here's my car:

It had been sitting in this guy's driveway for like two years w/ a tarp on it, because it had a BHG, and wouldn't start due to a CPS issue...(noob :nono:).

That's sort of a funny question. The MKIII used to be my wifes daily driver, she loved her Supra, but eventually it got a BHG, so I told her to go buy a new car. She ended up buying a 3rd gen Eclipse, that's what's in the picture. She hated that Eclipse and wanted her Supra back so bad, well, because the Supra is such a nicer car than an Eclipse.............3 years later she sold it and bought a Crossfire, all is well again!

kwnate, it's amazing how much those wheels transformed the looks of your car, love those wheels, in fact I almost bought those before I bought my Centerlines.

Some really awesome transformations in this thread, great job guys (and gal)!

BTW: I'll post pics when I get home... I just got a complaint on this thread, so I cleaned it, please, keep it clean...

Here it is after my first couple of mods:

Here it is as of two months ago:

and here it is as of yesterday:

I'm now undergoing a 1jz swap. I'll post pics up in a week or so. This is one of the best threads I've seen. I'm just glad I'm not the only one spending my children's college fund................:biglaugh:

I just painted my engine bay as you can hopefully tell. I didn't weld any holes like Duane, but who can compete with that?..................:biglaugh:

not a mk3 but what the hell!

Engine Before:

Engine After: (still old pic..rusty things are gone and a couple more are polished now...but you get the idea.)

engine after, again.

Before Exterior:

missing trim, antenna rust, no hatch decal...can't see rusty exhaust.

rims before:

After Exterior.
rims after:

some paint here and there

sorry if I went overboard for the pics, mods...feel free to remove some if you like.

Ok, here it is before and after. I bought this car from a 70 year old preacher in Dallas off ebay for $5,500.00 with a new used Japan replacement engine totally stock. No upgrades and was a turtle running at 5 psi of boost.

Now here is the completed rebuild:

All of these are sweetness!!!!!!
Why is is Masterchief's engine bay so much busier than Mattjk's? I know he took off the strut covers, but it looks like Matt's has everything on it, but it looks empty. Anybody?

Jake saids I have to post a pic so I'll post one of my car with my dash out. I replaced it with another one that wasn't cracked.
