Hello all. Has anyone tried to install a crank trigger wheel and timing gear off of a 1J or 2J onto a 7M? I need some form of crank trigger for the new ECM. I found pics and part numbers. 478BD09E-1E17-4FB5-AF62-494B65C2C006.png 405CF9F4-B4A9-44FD-87FB-5254FCFEE9B5.png 478BD09E-1E17-4FB5-AF62-494B65C2C006.png

You can use the cam sensor. It has 12 tooth for crank and a single for cam.
Also I think dm sells a new type of sensor

60-2 would be great on the crank.

More teeth means more accurate timing reading (less drift).

I have seen 120-4 and of course the optical system from Ford and Nissan are at 360 degrees.
