code 24 won't go away. (other problems too)

here is a list of my problems and there starting to piss me off.

first is the code 24, even when i reset the ecu it's still there i can't get rid of it. i also get a code 31 but when i rest the ecu it will go away and then come back.

I know these are both AFM related, but i'm not running an AFM, I have the maftpro. I'm stumped on this.

also my tach only works part time. i was dead for 4 months, and now all of a sudden it starting working out of the blue. now it works some of the time. what is causing this.

also the front end of my car feels like total shit. lots of strange sounds, grinding, binding, clunking, rattling etc... it's really annoying and it's making me wanna sell my car.

i replaced the lower ball joints, inner and out tie rods, alighment was just done, i just ordered power steering rack bushings, new rotors and brake pads, wheel bearings are in spec, i have new springs and shock and yet the car still clunks. i will clunk all the time. i can get it to clunk just from moving the wheel side to side.

please help me

umm don't really know. i went to pull some codes and tey just showed up. i check my maft pro wiring and all seems good..

also my clunking is getting worse by the day. the front end sounds horrible.

Just a shot in the dark, but how are your wheel studs? Jaguar mentioned rattling and clunking, right before his wheel fell off while driving.

I'm running a VPC, and occassionally, I get a random 24 that just comes and goes on it's own free will. It's the only code issue that I'm having.

Good luck with getting your MAFT PRO issues resolved. Hopefully, everything works out as I'm starting to look at other options other than the VPC.

friend of mine had a markvii(lincoln). his car was poping when he turned. finally it really popped and you could just spin the stearing wheal. his rack was bad. good luck.
