Back in June I went to a friend's Speed Shop to see how much my JZA70 made in stock form. The last time I got the car dyno'd, it made 233 WHP with 254 Lb/Ft of Torque. But since that dyno was done on ethanol free gas (as I didn't know the whole deal with MK3s and Premium gas at the time), I topped off my car with 93 Oct premium to see if there was any difference.

This time, the fully stock 1JZ (stock exhaust, air filter, etc) pumped out roughly 249 WHP (293 HP at the crank) with 270 Lb/Ft of Torque.

While that's a lot of fun for stock form, my current goal is roughly 300-315 to the wheels on no more than 14 psi. Hopefully with basic performance mods (intake, exhaust, etc) I can reach just that, since the car has less than 55k miles on it.

I plan on going single turbo eventually, but for now, being a college kid with little money in my wallet, this upcoming "budget build" of mine will do just nicely.

Also, here are a few more pics of the car. I sure can't wait to get coilovers and wider wheels, the car could really use them :aigo:

This is my dyno plot. Blue curve is stock boost with stock management. Red curve is on e85 with about 23 psi boost.

Why only 14 psi? I was doing like 17 PSI on stock injectors (Piggy back) on stock twins with no issues at all.

The stock airbox is a quality setup, unless you're willing to make your own heat shield or duct fresh, cool air to the filter, I would personally leave it.

For reference, I made 320whp with stock Y-pipe (or was it the 3" ebay special? I can't recall, this was YEARS ago), 3" exhaust, BC264 cams, and head porting. Boost levels around 12psi, so I'm really leaning toward stock Y-pipe when that dyno run was made in 2010.

Anyway, a little over 300whp would be a LOT of fun with the JZA70's 4.10 gearing. :)

Because I don't want to risk overboosting the stock twins and making them blow blue. Like I said, I plan on upgrading to a single turbo eventually, but for now is just like my turbos to last for as long as possible.
