After not touching the supra for a few years, I'm back on it. I came across a pretty rubbish old loom so I'm going to try and strip/de-pin and replace all the cable with so proper teflon coated cable.
Started by making a quick guide for where it branches

Not a great pic but these wires we just tucked into one of the injectors plug sleeves. Tracked back to the 6 on ignitor plug

Having some trouble with this engine harness to car plug does the centre of the plug just pull up?

I have managed to find most plugs from other places here in the uk other than toyota. The ones I haven't found are: afm, cps & coil pack (have found similar in white) and the square engine harness to car plug above. Will update as I get them in. Also please say if this has been done so save me a lot of time.

You should attach images here as we lost lots of images when photobucket changed thier policies.

Also, ptfe based wiring is priced where spec44 and spec55 (tefzel) sit at and those are far better abrasion resistant. Ptfe has out gassing issues under high heat.

Here are Stu_22's four photos. They are out there at the link, but they are too large to be uploaded here.

I use a free program for "ninite.com" called "irfanview" to scale down picture sizes. Simply install the program, load the photo and save the photo. The default values shrink the file... or you can customize the size you desire. The photos can also be downsized when uploading straight from your phone. An iPhone prompts you to upload full size, large, medium or small. I typically upload the medium size. No problem. I sometimes upload the photos from my phone, then switch to my PC to write the text. I can't see the small thumbnails so well.

These four photos were uploaded with the "insert image" button. Once you upload, you can delete the full-size image it places in your post, and then add back the thumbnails. Of course, if you wanted, you could leave the big pics in th post, but if you've got a few, it gets ugly.

Users can also create folders and upload "media" which can then be used to insert.

My hope in posting these pics is to educate and hopefully someone will more easily help you with your questions.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Thankyou debrucer. I have struggled with pictures since we lost photobucket

Anyway loom is de taped and mostly de-pinned. And chemical resistant cable on order. I just want to replce wire that goes through to engine bay

So I think one of my pics shows auto box connectors which I will strip out just need to pic out wires for reverse and speed for my manual.

My main problem at the moment is de-pinning that 15 pin connector the last pic in debrucers post. It seems to have some sort of plastic key in the bottom but I can't see if it pulls up or hinges away. Plus this seems to be a toyota only plug even though it has the sumitomo logo on it. Anyone have a spare they would be happy to butcher????

I bought a de-pinning set on Amazon for about ten bucks. Haven't used it yet, but expecting it to be invaluable.

I use one like this.
Spring steel, with a taper at the tip.

Could also use a small dental tool.

You would have to have a very very small screwdriver to fit in there.
But doable yes, just don't mar or distort the small plastic clip holding the pin in. :)

Still working on it struggling to find the pins for the car connectors near the ecu. Also does anyone know if there is a pin out diagram for these connectors.

Lastly the connectors under the inlet are a bit of a mess as standard. I assume the large round 6 pin plug is for an auto trans. If so I can completely remove the wires and place all 3 connectors into this one.

I have a wiring diagram, but it doesn't have the best pin out diagrams. Either way if you think there's anything you need out of it I can turn pictures into PDF and email/PM them to you.

Large 6 pin under the intake manifold could be your idle air control valve unless you have already identified that

I know about that one. The one I'm taking about i think just has a single red wire being used for reverse switch
