Just wanted to share this video with anyone who wants to see what a 1992 teal Toyota Supra Turbo with 12k miles looks like. Absolutely amazing condition. He is doing a interview with the owner so ask some questions in his video if there is anything you want him to ask.

Nothing wrong with Targa or 7m. I'd love to have it.

A Gem like this shouldn't be molested... So hardtop would be worthless unless you wanted a killer. I'd much rather cruise with the top off an enjoy the car like I do with my 91.

Man this thing is in pristine condition. If only I would buy it. As far as 7m just swap in a jz. Targa are actually pretty fun.

Miguel! That's awesome to see. What a crazy rare car at this point. I'd like to know what it'll post for when they list it. This is far more rare than the '90 that went at Barrett Jackson this year, IMO. Slightly more miles here, but far more sought after combo.

I suspect in 2030 this will be a $100k car.

so cool to see but I wouldnt want it. I like to drive my cars
Afraid I'm in that boat with you...

My question then, who trades in such a car? Surely, surely they know what they have and what it would be worth on the open market? I mean, unless the dealership traded you straight across for a brand new LS500 or something along those lines, new Land Cruiser perhaps?

My question is,
Where’s the firewall vin plate?
Shouldn’t it be there? The hole for the rivets are there.

I assume someone added what looks to be an MK2 Supra decal on the hatch lid? The car is damn near perfect though. About 10 years ago I found a 87 supra turbo 20 min from my house that had 58K on it and was in perfect shape other than a little fading on the nose. It was owned by an old lady and had been in storage after she passed. The car was totaled but I wish I still had that car b/c it was unmolested. With my 89 now that has a JDM 7M swap, I keep finding hacked up wiring that makes me scratch my head.

There is one thing that I do no like, the rest is magnificent. That one thing? Those floormats.

but seriously, that has to be the cleanest 86.5 I've ever seen. I love that exterior color.

BEAUTIFUL! That looks very similar to my Metallic Blue 91, but I like yours better. I'm guessing that's "Medium Blue Metallic" code 8D4?

I would say Tarek has the cleanest low mile 86.5 i have seen, but mine is faster. ;)

What wheels are we looking at there? Those look like a really nice, crisp 5 spoke.
They are, for all purposes, cheap wheels. They are Discount Tire Direct's MB brand. Nothing expensive at all. I've been told the looks fit the car really well and they seem pretty well made too.

Well that's a very clean and period-correct looking design. I see a ton of those MB wheels around and assume they're relatively well made, but probably not super light.

Either way, good choice for a cheap wheel. It looks like they could be $2k+ wheels.

The wheels are from Tire Rack back in 2008, ASA JH8 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. There were not break the bank cost, around 200-250 a wheel if i remember. I like the design a clean 5 spoke with machine lip for a little bling. My dream wheel is the Fikse fm5, but who has 4k for wheels when you have kids to put through college, new motor to build and get things for the car that is never "finished". :)

My apologies, I though you had been talking about my wheels! Didn't mean to speak for SupraDrew. But mine were from Discount tire. :)

Haha, no problem. That makes more sense. I saw yours and knew they were the Discount Tire wheels I see everywhere (still not a bad wheel considering how often you see them and how cheap they are), but then saw your reply and didn't put it together that you were the previous poster. I thought "Wow, discount tire makes a bunch of decent wheels! Go figure!"

Either way, it's impressive we managed to get two very clean mk3's with the same rare paint code in the same thread!

I have heard that the blue paint is a rare color for the Supra. Does anyone have an idea of how rare it is? I can honestly say that I haven’t seen another one personally besides mine. What is interesting is that my dad bought this exact color when the car came out new in 86 and now I have one.
