Hello,
I just installed the greddy profec b spec II boost controller in my 90t and I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice as to the boost settings. (start boost, gain, etc.) Also, is the peak boost recorded feature on this thing accurate? It recorded a 16.2 lb boost last time I drove it. Any info would be appreciated. Ed

you have it set in lbs am i correct? I have my profec set in lbs and the set boost and start boost have to be close together. The gain i have set at 12. The start boost for me is like 50 and the set boost is 50. That gets me about 10.2-10.5. The peak boost will read high if your other settings are off such as the start, set and gain. So try those settings and see what you get. Actually, if i were you start at like 42 for the set and start, leave the gain alone at 12. Increment the start and set by 2 to the desired boost. It may be different for your car, because i am on the stock turbo. Just remember, the start and set have to be relatively close or in my case exactly the same.

Test this on the highway also, don't get crazy and do it on the streets. Always best to test this in 3rd gear anyway. The guy i actually talk to on the forum lost his license for testing this out. Im surprised i still have mine :)

I know this is an old post. But this is a new problem for me. I have the same controller. And pretty much the same problem. But i have another problem as well...I can't get it to read in LBS it's always x100kpa. I have read the manual and it says to Hold select till it turns off...then push Mode X2 and it should change to LBS. If you can just explain to me how i can get it to hold 14.7psi or 1bar. thanks i have tried to call greddy today but the technical support is in JPN(lucky guys/girls) for the Auto Salon. Thanks for any help.
