I made it from a "U-J" tube I bought off Ebay. Something like this:
Turns out that Ronnie sells them in FIVE different hardness levels.
Also, he just posted to his original thread, so he is actively selling them.
Pretty sure that stock exhaust is 2.25” i.d. piping.
whats the inside diameter of the Let-16 piping?
If you plan on replacing the exhaust manifold with a header in the future, or even going turbo later on, you don’t want any smaller than 2.5” On any part of the system.
EDIT- I see that you...
Yeah, I’ve ordered a complete lock set, a replacement 89 cruise control wheel button, and targa top holder covers, all in the last 3 weeks, all supposedly in stock with Amayama. All three orders were later refunded to me.
Although my 88 project has the nice stainless twin tip setup, my daily 89 has an HKS super drager, which is a single tip on a larger canister. I wanted to trade out to the LET-16, but it wasn’t worth it, since the Super Drager was new, and came with the car.
My setup is similar to Piratetip’s, in that it’s all stainless, and designed to be quiet:
3.5” down pipe, metallic core 3” cat, Magnaflow center muffler, Borla proXS rear muffler with twin 2.5” HKS style tips.
I also incorporated an electric cutout for when my shallow personality needs...
Thank you, Piratetip!
I should have just messaged you directly, knowing that diffs are your specialty. I'm wanting to rebuild my diff, because back when I put a Weir stage 1 and solid spacer in, I think I messed up the preload, because when I add heavy load(boost) or engine brake from highway...
Although I didn’t see anything about this when I searched, I expect that there is probably
already a thread that covers this...but guess what? I’m just happy to be in here, posting a new
thread! I miss this place!
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had ever bothered making a list of...
I requested all quarter window trim, side louvre panels(window vents), usdm89+ front lip, and gauge panel shroud- the black part that always cracks around the mounting points. The tiresome part, is having to look up the oem original part numbers.
