How hard is it to find a Mk III?

It is not a Camry. The 7M is a high performance engine. As is a 1JZ or 2JZ. The 7M is very likely to need a proper head gasket repair job, NA or Turbo. Expect to pay a shop $2-5k for that work with a looooong wait time. For it's performance and age, it's reliable, sure, but it's a lot more work...

How hard is it to find a Mk III?

I drove a friend's newer STI. Objectively, it was better in most every regard. Faster, sharper, etc... But I was bored after a few minutes. The mk3 (and I'm sure mk4 and many other similar era turbo cars) are just a blast to drive. Kinda like Nirvana, in my mind. Not perfect enough to feel...

Exhaust options - anything with two tailpipes like stock?

Raptor Racing is the clear winner, in my mind, if you want stock-ish looks. I had that on my 90 7MGTE and it was awesome. Excellent, excellent tone and loud enough that it's clearly not stock. Small business and the owner, George, had some excellent customer service when I interacted with him...

Need a quick answer, if possible! Neutral Safety Switch bypass an auto, but manually converted with JDM Auto Turbo ECU

I think you need to mimic the harness. instead of trying to get the ECU what it wants, just run the wiring exactly as the TEWD shows. I don't recall exactly what I ended up doing and that was before I started recording most my tasks. I think there was a connector with pins that needed...

Need a quick answer, if possible! Neutral Safety Switch bypass an auto, but manually converted with JDM Auto Turbo ECU

I think what matters is getting the behavior listed in the link below. I fought with this on my GTE-swapped 90 or my manual swapped 88. It was not as simple as I expected. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/manual.aspx?S=Main&P=50

    A70 new model preview

This is awesome! I'd love to see this for more vehicles. Any chance there are more for other years/models?

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Played musical cars to work on the new 06LX's underside. Also had to charge up the battery after 6 months of shuffling the mk3 in and out of the garage. She hasn't been on asphalt in long while... :(

Project Ookii Ao: Road to 500whp

Eek. I'm sorry to hear/see that. I have the EXACT same problem which tells me it's a mold problem. Worst yet, it's driver's side so you're going to be staring straight at it in the mirror. Ugh. Can we work together on getting some coordinated feedback and a request to fix to Kaminari? I'm all...

Project Ookii Ao: Road to 500whp

No. While I like the look, I really don't want another headache. I'm very concerned about fitment after dealing with the spoiler.

Project Ookii Ao: Road to 500whp

I don't think I have that issue. Did you test fitment with the plastic mounting triangles installed along the hatch edge? I think I had the opposite problem. I had to file down the inside of the material around the mount tabs for the winglets along the hatch. Little chunks missing. Depends how...

What Years Have the Hatch Release Cable Block Coupler?

Ah, ok. There could be a one-off fix in 3D printing for that, but probably not a universal fix for everyone. What a pain, sorry!

What Years Have the Hatch Release Cable Block Coupler?

Ah, ok. I need to see what's inside there and how it clamps to the cable (or perhaps how it breaks). I think there's a solution there without a metal crimp.

What Years Have the Hatch Release Cable Block Coupler?

Hmm, that sounds like a perfect printing opportunity for my material. I can vaguely recall what you're talking about. Happen to have a pic?

What Years Have the Hatch Release Cable Block Coupler?

I think the cable part ends at the steel balls of the cable. If your plastic pieces are broken, I suspect that's a different part number. Here's the diagram for a 91.

    Toyota Heritage Parts

The form is great. It asks more detail than I would have guessed. The details asked make me think they're legitimately trying to understand needs on this stuff. I'll fill it out for my current 91 and for my previous 90. And... perhaps for my other 3 previous mk3's, haha.

    interior-innovations seat cover replacements

I recall that they do offer full leather (or partial leather/alcantara or partial leather/vinyl). The price just goes way up (to be expected). I think OEMs do the same thing. At any rate, I'd be interested in a potential group buy if they can do alcantara centered replacement skins and have...

Toyota to reproduce some genuine A70/80 Parts

But I think each of those line items will be a dozen or more actual part numbers. IE Weatherstrip. There are a few dozen weatherstrips for the mk3. Multiple door handles, prop shafts, etc... I'm very optimistic at this point. Any weatherstrip would be wonderful because you can almost guarantee...

    Anyone reupholster a mk3 completely?

Rial Daytona, I think. Looks like a knock off of the BBS LM. To clarify, that's some random car I found one day via google.

    Anyone reupholster a mk3 completely?

Here's the one I have saved on my PC. Notable things to me: 1. Lots of OEM plastic is still present. 2. The lack of stitching in the door panel insert bugs me. It looks odd. OEM has stitching. Many aftermarket upholsterers can add diamonds or diagonals or something. 3. Grey steering wheel...

    Anyone reupholster a mk3 completely?

I'm interested in the exact same. My goal at this point is to minimize the exposed plastic/vinyl. I think that will really class it up and hide the parts that look aged. I'm also looking to change the interior color as the blue just doens't do it for me, especially with the new teal exterior. I...
