    My long-running Supra build thread

Hi, I wrote this first post in someone else's thread and posted before I thought it through. Mostly we try not to do that :( I had a build thread years ago, and have some static information on the web, but, SupraMania is where I've always landed for info, so let me use this post to drive a...

Exhaust options - anything with two tailpipes like stock?

I appreciate that... I like it, too. I've listened to quite a few videos of Supra sounds, and yeah, I want it to sound good, but at this point, having done so many things over such a long period of time, the sounds I'm worried about now might come from some mistake I made any time over all...

    Toyota Heritage Parts

https://www.megazip.net/ That's the one I was talking about earlier. It seems they will submit orders to any manufacture and try to obtain a part. They charge a pretty penny for the service, but if they've got the sources it would be worth a try. They don't appear to list much of anything as...

    Toyota Heritage Parts

I can't answer your question, but have to say that it's always advisable to search even if discontinued in the states. I recently stumbled on a site that looked like a parts department that was really only ordering from another outlet, both in Japan, but nothing was considered "discontinued"...

    Heater Core Repair recommendations?

That was weird... this thread http://www.supramania.com/forum/threads/recommended-replacement-heater-core.248657/#post-2107931 I thought it was the same thread as the one you were posting in, but it was in a search result, hence, not "this" thread :) Sounded like you and I had the same...

    Another 7M ground up build

Here is the last email thread I had with Captain on SupraForums, FYI. David A lot of times if you are just cleaning up a stock bore honing with a torque plate is superior to just running a hone down the bores. I'd say there's one person per every 4 that rents a plate that's just doing a hone...

    Heater Core Repair recommendations?

Sounds like the problem I was talking about in post #20 of this thread. I posted pictures somewhere, but can't find them or the originals. Same resolution for me, too. I took it to a trusted radiator repair shop, had it cleaned and pressure tested, and put it back on with new o-rings.

Anyone have a list of the diff bearing part numbers?

Thanks for sharing, although, knowing you a while, I wouldn't expect anything less. A lot of work went in curating that info.

    One last build thread

and to boot, today, cleaning up, organizing the garage, I found the two brass washers for the fuel filter that I ordered a long time ago... so long that I ordered them again and got them last week. Guess the memory is going, too. This garage is going to be like a modern day barn find for someone...

    Toyota Heritage Parts

It's a start. Certainly not enough :( Weather strip could be nice if they have more than one. Funny they include front emblem. Hope they also start making the clip that holds it on... it has been discontinued. I've got my hopes up on a used one. Had the emblem for years. No clip same number of...

    One last build thread

People stop by the garage all the time... trying to figure out if I can do this, or that. Hell, if I were a mechanic I would have been done ten years ago... and yes, I also dread those jobs. My fuel filter banjo fitting is waiting for me to get back in there and replace the copper washers that...

    Help! Supra doesn't run right

I have a retractable claw on a 18" springy shaft... you push the button and the three fingers come out, let off and they close around the object. I think I'd be looking for something like that. Mine was from a Sears Craftsman set. Not sure where you'd buy it... auto parts store? You might also...

Toyota to reproduce some genuine A70/80 Parts

There's already a thread on the Heritage parts... and there's a nice list of all the things the initial people in the list wanted. It's probably best to continue that thread so we keep it all together. There was a registration at toyota owners site that was supposed to get us feedback and a...
