dang brakes!

hey guys,

I bought new brakes an drotors for my car about 4 or 5 months ago and now they are so squeaky and loud. Is there anytihng anything i can use or do about this to quite the sqeak down. There both raybestos, so i dunno.

those sqyeal shims, are they the metal plate you put behind the pads? if so i have them

Use disk break quieter, use break cleaner, then apply it, apparently it fills the wholes if any and just quiets the breaks. Mine squeeled a little, applied it, did nothing, then 1 week later stropped...dunno if the product did the job..or just time..

meh.. they're raybestos. they are gonna squeal. i used to work at fisher auto parts, and they deal with raybestos pads and rotors and such. you should've SEEN the amount of complaints i saw in the year or so i spent there... it was silly.

Bendix pads are really good, non squealing deals... check out your local Auto Parts chain for them..
or go with some porterfields.
