Hi everyone.... just joined up, forum looks really good!

Basically my 7M was totally stock till I got the turbo a bit hot

....... and melted a few piston rings.

I began on a big rebuild project with a sp turbo kit and supporting bits and pieces, here are the results!

Looking forward to some hastle free mk3 ownership now :x:

I've gotten mine to glow a bit, stock setup, never anything that gets the elbow glowing though. Welcome, and sweet turbo upgrade!

Thanks for the feedback everyone....... I basically shimmed the actuator to the max and for some reason fuel cut didnt happen and I must have run very lean! Maybe an AFM fault!

I had a freeflow exhaust and airfilter on at the time but thats it! Oil went everywhere when it happened!!!!!!!
