rev question

same as turbo's I believe. should be 6750 pre 89 and some 89s, 6500 bastard 89 and 6250 post 89.

Miggles is right power falls like a rock after 5500 rpm's even with improved intake and exhaust. 7M's just aren't high revers. The good news is they develop their hp steadily throughout low to medium high revs making them a very tractible street motor. If you want revs you need a 1jz.

been to 6500 a few time on my 91 turbo w/oi any ill effects to speak of yet. redline according to the guage is 6250 though.

i think what you MEANT to say is 7ms dont like to rev with stock flowing parts and stock turbos...

upgraded stuff LOVES revs... ported heads and better exhaust and intake manifolds and bigger turbos... rev it up to 8k and see power to redline all day long....
