Ebay Intakes

Did some searching but found not much. Im too poor for a K&N FIPK kit, but I want an intake. There are loads of cheap intake adapter kits on ebay, for almost no cash, my question is, could I buy the cheap adapter, then get a universal K&N filter for it? or are any of these pieces of crap slightly less stinky?

i guess it depends on if the filter is washable like the K$N. if the adaptor fits on the afm correctly,then why not? you would have to be sure that the mating surfaces line up,so there wont be any funky turbulance.

as far as all those crappy ones go, i'd choose the BOMZ one.
the filter actually looks like it works... not like this gay one...

but... they're all cheap, so in essence, they're all crappy. the bomz one or that similar looking white filter are the least crappy ones.

if the HKS super mega flow (mushroom looking filter) doesnt filter at all, what makes you think that an imitation one for $2 will?

yeah, go bomz. Then you can upgrade to a real k&n for $40 JBL has the PN for a nice 3" universal cone filter. I believe it's RC-4190 or something close to that.
