how to get rid of excess carbon build up inside the engine?
take off the 3000 pipe when engine is hot, with a spray bottle(like windex-type) full of clean water, spray it into the throttle body... dont pour it in there, but mist it. dont use a lot, i cannot stress that enough. sparingly is the key.

i do not take any blame in harm caused by this method. it will work if used as described. if too much water is applied, it will hydrolock.

upon removal of head, it is instantly obvious which cylinder had coolant leakage. it looks brand new.
works the same if you have a water injection system. that will keep your combustion chambers brand spankin new.

Interesting, what about stuff like auto-rx? Also what would you consider sparingly? Two maybe three squirts?
no you have to get enough water in there to do something

I use MCCC (Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner) and yes you have to go down to the junky Dodge dealership to get it. It works super well and go to http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/techtip/headswap.html and this guy shows you how to use it with the head off on an mk3 supra.
