auto transmission

sorry that this is way off supra topics, but, my moms 03 jetta wont go into gear from park and it never seems to do it at the shop (obviously) but always either at work or here at the house. was just wondering if anyone might have any ideas fluids seem to be fine and everything else is running just fine...

any help would be great

Make sure you are stepping on the brake peddle before trying to shift it into gear. Lots of auto trannies have lock outs like that from start.
