I know harness is easier but I don't have one and don't feel like bothering with it. so if anyone out there has done the work or knows a good write up I'd be much obliged. 88t

The harness is use to retain the stock wire. If you have a TSRM or visit one of the site that has it, get to the ignition section and print out the wiring diagram and test the wire for voltage when key is turn to ACC and ON. Then follow the instruction from the timer manufacture and splice it in. After that, hook up ur ground wire and hand brake. The hard part is usually the freaking SPD wire, the TSRM just doesn't show the correct layout. I tried to splice for SPD 3x and still nothing. Really pissed me off so I just screw it and leave it hanging.
