alarm went off, now tt doesn't stay on

earlier today my alarm went off when i tried to unlock. i unhooked both batteries to clear it and get the car started, now she starts but the tt won't stay on when i turn the car off. everything is hooked up exactly like it was when everything still worked right... any help would be great

btw- i don't think it matters but its an 89 turbo (duh)
