Buildt my own meter with the schematichs from Dr Js site.
First I ran a wire to the diag block connecting to the Vf1 terminal.
Power from the cig lighter and ground on the steering column.
Only 1 led turned on and that was all.

Tried moving my groundwire to E1 as its supposed to be the ECUs ground, then I got nothing at all.

If I meassure with a DVM between Vf1 and E1, I get the normal voltage about 2.5V, flipping up and down a little but thats ok.

I put a 7812 voltage regulator to get a steady 12V feed to the meter, but I dont think thats why I get the strange readings.

And yes the meter is calibrated and works perfect when I checked it with a variable Volt output and my DVM...

Ignore the red wire since it was for calibration only.

I don't understand?
Set it to 2.5v at idle, and like Ron Popeil advises... "Set it, and forget it...."

Why monitor it? (Only works in closed loop right? And the TCCS makes all the calls pretty much, so you can't tune around it anyway.) WOT is the only time you can make changes that mean anything? And at WOT, that meter is doing nothing.

Just my .02psi worth of exhaust gases...

Nice little meter for the car however.

Well I like stuff that others dont have in their car.
This is a working meter and its working perfect off car.
Could be a grounding problem between the E1 terminal and ECU-chassi, don`t know. Where is the ECU-E1 grounded?
