Can someone with working cruise control verify this please...When I go through the Type A diagnostics in the TSRM, I start the car and let it idle, push the lever to SET and hit the MAIN button to go into diagnostic mode. When i release the lever, I get the 5 blink code of vacuum switch circuit being normal. It will do this endlessly or until i hit another button. Does yours do this? Whem the TSRM says 'vacuum switch on' for the code, I don't know what it is telling me to do.
When I hit a button like set or resume, the appropriate code will flash. I then tried doing the 4 cancel switches, but none will make the 5 blink code cancel out. As I understand it, when you pull the ebrake or hit the clutch or whatever, it is supposed to shut the light off until you release. Am I right or what is going on here, how do I test the cancel switches?
