car wont start

ok so we just put an engine in for for my one frind, a 7m of course, and the bugger wont start now. checked timing, ignition timing, spark and theres gas in there. nothing is leaking and it just keeps rolling over like it wants to start but it wont. I think its he shitting batery that we need to put a charger on every 2 mins but i dunno. and his oil pressure gauge keeps spiking at 140 if that has antything to do with it. But any info from some pros would be great. thanks alot.

Check all of your ground wires, especially the ones located under the intake manifold. When I did my bhg repair, I forgot to tighten the grounds under the intake, it took me a week before I finally figured out why it wouldnt start. :icon_redf

same.i had a miss that occoured at around 3-5000rpm.it was like a little stumble and when i cornered it felt like there was nothing there then it come good.until i got stuck at a petrol station for 1hr i realised i had only fingertightend the earths.
