cylinder head repair, anyone know one in NYC?

hi everyone
i would like to know if anyone know a place or direct me to a place where i can send my cylinder head for service in NYC.

i need the head to be inspected and valves grind and re-seated.

theres a guy in white planes that i have delt with that does good work, but he is slow as shit.

tony in the bronx says he knows a good machinist, and i believe him too. i reccomend you stop by tony's shop and ask him.

You could also just get a rebuilt head from cylinder heads international for around $425. They send you the head, you put your old one in the box and send it back to them, no downtime. I used them for my bhg rebuild and it went very smoothly. The number is 800-572-1963. Hope this helps.

i was trying to locate ur post because i think i remember u posting something abour a rebuilt head but i couldn't find the post.
thanks i will look into.

how much was ur cost for the head after the core was return?

i have few heads at home so if they want a head from me i don't mind sending in one. i will put the old one that is not on the car and just send them that one cause i have 1 extra engine that took a crap on me.

without a core that 425 figure is a good price, however if that is the price WITH the core i dont know if it is worth it...

AND you can get your head done for much less than 400 if you know the right people.
