ACT clutch disc?

stock clutch disc vs act street disc??

i want to get my car running this weekend and i have a new act street disc laying around; my 6 puck nevered came in so i cancelled it. my power goal is 380wrhp; will the act disc be fine or should i wait for a better disc?? (this is with a stock pp)

Stokless: I used the ACT Street kit in my last build and it was fine! (The PP doesn't appear to be anything special my guess is a stock one with yellow paint)

The Disc will chatter slightly under certain conditions as it doesn't have Marcels but should hold your power goals.

I had a ACT street setup on my car for about a year. Unless somthing's changed. The Kit i had, the Pressure plate was heavy duty, the Disc was stock toyota disk. Is that still not the case?

Pioneer: To me it looked the other way round!

The PP diaphragm measured stock and the disc is quite a bit different with bonded linings with no Marcels.
(I bought mine 2 years ago so it could very well have changed)

i thought the act street kit came with a hd pp... my bro has the kit as well and the clutch feels different than mines with a stock pp.

i'm pretty sure the pp is upgrade, not to sure on the disc...

Just went out and measured my ACT and a Stock PP to make sure!

Both have 2.8mm diaphragms so unless ACT have found a way of making the PP heavy duty that uses a stock diaphragm I stick by what I said.
(I built Clutches for a living for a year when I was a kid way back)

my ACT clutch had a heavier pressure plate and a stock toyota disc. I've been looking into clutches for a little bit and here's what I've found
