how good are manual boost controllers? because i just bought one and I want to see if its gonna help at all?

there okay, i had one, it was fine, later developed a vacume leak, i guess you get what u payed for. electronic ones are the best if you got the cash money.

I'm still using one. It's tough to justify spending hundreds on something that a $25 item seems to do just as well.

I run one as well.. Always hits perfect boost... Grim is right on the expensive part... if you can afford it; go for the ebc but the MBC will do what you want... just make sure it is 3 inches on either side of the connector... or else it won't work efficiently.
