cracked turbo manifolds

How common are cracks in the stock manifold?

im looking to score some free stockers to cut up shame postage from the states for a cast manifold would send me broke!

Mine has a big old crack right up the middle. It is from the inside out and hasn't gone all the way thru. It lines up with the crack in the turbine housing pretty well...

did you notice the crack when you put on a large dump pipe? i think the stock turbo elbow may have something todo with toasting around the wastegate
