non power windows

heres a good one does anyone know is there any manual wind up no electric windows out there for the ma70 cause need to loose my electric ones due to weight and wiring so there just not wanted
anyone help

never seen one before but if you need weight reduction for eltronics, the first thing that should go is the glass not the electronic part. those windows weigh hella lot.
and im sure there has got to be some sort of universal manual window kit out there.

typicaly power windows are lighter/same where you can save is by only runing 2 wires to the doors and puting the switchs in the center console

waste of time! take out the windows, bring them to a plastic place and have them make you some in lexan.

was going to do the windows in lexon as well just cutting everthing out a kg here and ther mount up quickley soon its another 20/30 kg even got rid of heater and matrix going as light as can
wonder what the lightest one is gpa cars were about 1350/80 kilos anyone beaten that

How much would this cost to do it in lexan? I know it's not legal, BUT.. who's going to check or be able to tell? Does it have fogging problems? Does it yellow over time, or haze? Are there any drawbacks?

IIRC, there is a fellow on Vancouver Island (nashman?) who has his down to around 1250kg.
