I took my intake pipes off to change an air filter, and the IC pipes off to shim the wastegate, and i noticed alot of oil coating the inside of both, is this a bad thing? no smoke or anything, just seemed kinda messy.

Look into a "catch can" or oil/air PCV separators. But yeah, having some oil in there is "normal", if not exactly kosher.

If you find it necessary to clean the oil out, go for it. It's not going to hurt anything, but if you feel better having it out of there, then I guess that would be the reason to do it. A catch can is nice way to stop any futher accumulation.

There really isn't any point in cleaning it out because it will just get dirty again. Catch can will deal with it though.
