while replacing the head gasket on my 88 supra turbo, i see that everyhting looks good until i take a look at the removed cylinder head.... #4 cylinder has a 1cm crack.... FU(K. I dont know what to do... is there any way i can get around replacing the complete cylinder head (i doubt there is)? any helpful information or your past experiences with this can help, also, what could of caused this, i just bought the car about 3 weeks ago so i doubt i had anything to do with it. thanks.

I come from a land down under
Could be repaired but it'll probably cost more than another head as they have to remove the valve seat weld it recut the seat pocket and press a new seat in then surface the head and grind the seat!

You should be able to find a decent head for between 200.00-400.00.

Put an ad in the WTB area.

Also check SF. I have seen a few on there for sale.

Unless you know who you're buying from, always use Paypal funded by a credit card. It gives you the most security when dealing with someone far away that you don't know.
