I link people to this all the time because it works so well. I used flare fittings for my setup personally. This is the writeup by BlackDevilSupra

If you're referring to my page, then here it is:

This is the write up I had presented - I first published this oh the SOGI list:

A persistent Power Steering high pressure hose leak, intermittent loss of
power steering feedback and the unattractive cost of an OE full replacement
convinced me to pursue alternative solutions. The OE kit completely
replaces all the original lines. To R&R these component would require
dropping the steering rack which I absolutely had no motivation.
I considered alternative solutions and settled on standard metric to 'AN'
and SS hose replacements.

I got all the components from http://www.bakerprecision.com/
Kit Content:
- Two Aeroquip 16X1.5mm to 6AN stainless steel adapters, PN - FCM2608,
http://bakerprecision.com/adapt8b.htm. This SS piece have bigger shoulders
as compared to the aluminum version. This bigger shoulder will prove handy
in providing a better seal for the copper crush washers and rubber o-rings.
They will screw into the PS pump and the steering rack. ~$26

- One packet of Stat-O-Seals, PN - 178010,
http://bakerprecision.com/statseal.htm. Used to provide a "nice and tight"
seal. Note, the PS pressure approaches 900psi. So you'll definitely need a
very good seal to prevent leaks. ~$5

- One 90deg hose end, PN - FCM4032, ~$18, one 120deg hose end PN - FCM4042,
~$25. http://bakerprecision.com/aqp5.htm

- About 4' for -6 SS braided hose. ~$20

- One Toyota PS copper crush washer gasket. PN 44327-12010. I couldn't
locate a suitable 16mm copper crush washer from any local auto store so I
ventured over to the Toyo parts dept. and got one which is satisfactory for
our need cause you'll snip it to create 2 o-rings.

Total in parts ~ less than $100

Installation:
Remove the banjo bolts for the high pressure hose from the PS pump and the
PS rack. I didn't remove the lines entire, I just zip tied them away out of
view.
Place the copper o-rings on the 16X1.5mm adapters, then push on the
Stat-O-Seals. Screw the fittings into the PS pump and the rack where the
banjo bolts were.
Install the 120deg hose end to the SS hose and attach it to the fitting on
the rack.
Route the SS hose smoothly to the PS pump and cut the hose to that length.
Install the 90deg hose end to the SS hose and screw it onto the PS pump.

ok one thing about this

after talking with aeroquip. The SS line is rated at 1000 psi continuance with a burst of 2500 psi. The power steering puts out 1250 psi. They DO sell hose that is SPECIFICALLY for power steering.

just thought i throw that in.
