Ok since we have a music thread I decided to make a movie thread.

Also what made me do this is that I saw a movie last night that I had not seen in a few years. The movie is American History X, IMO, the best movie ever made-hands down. Everything from the dialogue,the filming techniques, actors, plot. EVERYTHING is amazing and while having a good plot and original story it is still very relevent and can be applied to everyone.

Another movie that I love is The Boondock Saints. I know alot of people on the board have seen this one. For me as a Christian, the symbolism in it is awesome and very well done. The references to the Apostle Paul(Smecker) and The Trinity(Dad,Conner and Murphy) are very cleverly executed.

Both these movies are excellently done and have amazing stories/lessons to tell.

American History X was a very well created movie.
BoonDoc Saints just kicked so much ass.

I'm not one for horror cause its just stupid and make no sence, but i went when the movie SAW was playing and i have to say that movie was very very good for a horror, it had the silence of the lambs feel.

another movie comedy wise has to be Bowfinger. that movie is funny as hell go watch it.

american history ex is an extremly wellmade and thought out movie, as well with the boondocks saints :bigthumb:


fight club was so fuckin good, i could watch that everyday.

Oh man.. "Badder" Santa was amazingly funny. How could I forget that one?!

-The Isle, Korea 2000, postitution, murder
-Samaria, Korea 2003, child prostitution, murder
-Guinea Pig series, Japan (goriest of the gore)
-Ichi the Killer, Japan 2001, if you think the girl beating in the beginning of Unforgiven was brutal, that was nothing. Killing, cutting
-Visitor Q, Japan 2001, something about incest
-Story of Ricky, Hong Kong 1992 (first gory kung fu movie)
-Naked Blood, Japan 1995, girls cutting themselves because it feels so good due to a drug they tok

doesn't anybody like the classics?

Bullit btw has the best chase scene, Ronin isn't far behind tho.

I'm a modern war movie fan. Thin Red Line, Apocalypse Now, Saving Private Ryan, the Band of Brother's series...

I enjoy comedies too... Office Space. Need I say more?
