If i were to cut the stock springs, would it mess with my tems?

i treid the search feature, nothing turned up. and i've cut springs on lots of cars before so it's no biggy. Only thing is that with my car i recently was told that if i do, it'll mess with my tems very badly, maybe even break it?...is this true? the only reason i'm thinking cut springs is to give my car a lower look for a show/meet that's coming up in about a month and since i'm strapped for cash, i can't afford springs yet.

I heard of people heating the springs to achieve a lower ride, I don't know about breaking the tems, but i don't think it would be a problem.

wont be a problem at all, regarding TEMS functionality.

however after a while your stock shocks will be more likely to blow and leak due to the lower right height.
