i really havent started my 1jz swap in my cressida yet cuz im still waiting on a few more parts as well as my harness. but i happened to check the plugs the other day and found oil on my spark plug! since the intake manifold was already off i looked in the head and saw alot of oil on the valves. my friend was there with me and said he doubt the motor is bad and that the turbos are probably blown. what do you guys think? im gonna be really upset if my turbos are no good cuz i was looking foward to running the stock twins. if the turbos are blown is possible i can get them rebuilt or even rebuild them myself? would i be able to get the parts needed to do the rebuild? i would really appreciate the help guys. thanks.

Hey man...just because you have oil on a spark plug, does not mean the motor or the turbos are blown. I would be willing to bet that your VALVE COVER GASKETS are shot and are leaking.

befor you spend the money on new parts (that may cost alot) you may want to post on here. there is alot of guys with 1jz parts. that are good, there just not useing. alot of times you could get it for like half of whatever new is. just keep in mind. your not gonna find verymany new parts here in the stats (i assum your here in the US) Caz that motor didnt come here in a car. so i would ask people befor hand...i would also suggest changeing the timming belt as well...
