I come from a land down under
JT: With any luck my new head will be here today so I'll be able to give you that measurement, as for the block not sure if I've ever seen specs for deck height! (Usually measured from the Main bearing saddle to the deck)

Someone said it was 235.00 mm from the middle of the crank or something like that, what type of measurement tools would I need to measure both the head and block?

People are telling me I need to get the head CC'd. What does that mean. Sorry for all the questions, newb to rebuilding an engine.

You seal a piece of perspex to the head over the combustion chamber with a small hole in the middle then fill it from a graduated container to find out how much it holds.

7m's I believe are 40cc chambers.

No probs with the newb questions it's better to ask!
