Since we are basically starting from scratch on this site. Can we put an end to what is bound to be a reaccuring annoyance before it begins again? I'm talking about all the lexus afm questions that are bound to start piling up again. For example: What if i do the mod w/out 550's, do I need the screw, is the SAFC recquired, is a fuel regulator needed, etc....

Can someone who has done this mod - preferably multiple times put an article together on how to do it: A to Z the CORRECT way, no corners cut and with all the neccessary parts/items.

That way we can direct any legit questions, stupid questions, and shortcut takers (can i use 440's?) directly to that link.......issue finally resolved.

the problem with having a "final solution" is that EVERY car will respond to the lexus AFM differently...

so any said findings and news and notes would only be able to be held in loose regard.

given most people will have VERY similar results...saying all people should stay on this course for proper usage would be a negative idea.

i would say point anyone who ASKS in THAT direction but let it be known it isnt the end all be all.

this, sir, is incredibly true. cars are like people, even two cars produced consecutively in the assembly line could react completely differently to different mods. as idealsupra stated, hold articles like this in loose regard, otherwise you'll be incredibly frustrated when your car doesnt run like the article states it should.

I have done the Lex and 550s mod but have not installed an afpr or fuel pump. So far no problems and have run up to 18psi on a stock ct26 w/ no problem. There is a way to make plug and play injector harnesses but since my computer crashed i lost all the part numbers.
