Stage 1

K&N high performance air filter kit
3 inch down pipe
3 inch exhaust
*Optional* Test Pipe
*Recommended* 12 volt mod for fuel pump


Stage 2

Stage 1+
HKS BOV kit, or equivalent
3 inch turbo elbow
Boost controller
12 volt mod for fuel pump
*Recommended* Shocks and springs
*Recommended* Brake upgrade (pad's, and or lines)
*Highly Recommended* 3 inch test pipe, or high flow cat


Stage 3

Stage 2+
Intercooler Kit
Hard Pipes
Metal head gasket (required at this stage, may be needed for earlier stages)
ARP head studs, or bolts (studs recommended)
Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump
*optional* Fuel pressure regulator



Stage 4 TUNING REQUIRED (Wideband, on a dyno)

Stage3+
Upgraded CT-26 (stock) turbo (57, 60, 60-1 trim)
Lexus AFM
RC 550 cc injectors
Fuel controller (e-manage, Super AFC, F-con)
Upgraded clutch (spec stage 2 or greater)
*Highly recommended* Bigger brakes
*Highly recommended* Coil Over's, and sway bar's

Stage 0

Basic maintenance. Don't even start until you've checked all the vacuum lines, coolant hoses, and everything else that is going to head south on you the instant you try to add performance to a 15 year old car.

also i don't think i would list the FPR as optional the whole way thru, i've heard plenty of stories about walbro's 'blowing apart' the stock regulator :0

my 2 cents, good to have a guide line though :)
