Can someone check theirs and let me know please.im in speed density mode by the way. Thanx in advance

Not sure what you need, but mine works perfect. It sounds like it might either be open or grounded. I'm not sure of the electrical specifications of the temp sensor, but there's definitely a problem.

I'd start with checking the continuity of the sensor itself...

Sounds like your temp sensor is defaulting to the lowest range (most likely due to what was mentioned above).

When posting problems with the MAFT-pro, it is usually asked that you also post an export of your settings for others to review. This will encourage more help to come. Also, I would suggest registering (if you haven't already) at www.fullthrottletech.com and mirror your maft-pro questions there (since they are the developers and experts on the maft-pro).

After doing those, in the mean time, I would check your wiring against this:
vbpgimage.php

Even though that is for an 89+ 7mgte, you can still see how it is connected in general. Don't know if there are some translations to the pre 89 wiring harness floating around out there.

Btw, welcome to the forums.

Problem:
I followed the instruction my 4.4 manual gave me and the car ran really good the 1st day.tubo spooled up aggresively. but when this intake temp was stuck at -37 the next day, my air/fuel gauge was stuck on rich. didnt move at all. Im guessing because of this cold intake temp that the maft pro is sending to the ecu.Everytime i tried to press the pedal hard. i kept getting fuelcut at 6psi.car kept jerking untill i let off the throttle. i had to drive very easy.alot of black smoke. so what i did to make the supra drive was to change my airflow value to 1 instead of 0. This way i can drive and hammer it but the extra power wasnt there like the 1st time i hooked up the unit.

To solve the problem:

I checked my wiring. everything is still good. then i jumped the 2 wires on the intake airtemp sensor and looked at my MT value on the sensor monitor. it jumped up to 204.so that tells me the maft pro unit is working. I hope im not wrong. i checked the sensor it self for continuity.Nothing. I checked for resistance. i got nothing.no OHMS at all. so im guessin its a bad sensor. Now im going to order a sensor and will let you guys know how it goes.
