Hey guys,

I'm wanting to replace my front seats with "racing seats" and I'm wondering if any of you have done this.

The seats I'm looking at come with the sliders, but they don't have a way to bolt in.
Can i just weld the sliders to the bottom half of the stock seat sliders ?

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks!

My friend used the stock rails to get mine in. My stocks were blue and old. It does sit a tad bit high. Some shops can custom make rails for you. Its not cheap.

And no my seats are not ebay.

i have the corbeau in mine as well. buddy made brackets for mine since i wanted to fit the seat lower. stock seats my head is on the roof and was esp difficult to wear a helmet. the brackets he made sit the seat almost on the floor.

whatever route you go, don't skimp on the seat and really do not skimp on the brackets. buying the ones from corbeau is your best bet really.

what i did was, take my passenger side brackets (because their manual) and cut them off of the top part of the seat.

got a square tube bolted and welded on to the rails, and the kirky seat i have bolts to the tube!

i still have seat adjustment!

Cool,

Thanks for all the info guys.

Yes I'm leaning towards making my own bracket like you did Madsupra88.
That way i could pick how high i wanted the seat.
