Alright, well I am swapping a 1jz into my '92 Supra. I just ordered one and it's coming with. 1JZ motor, Rear Sump, Engine Wiring Harness ( Auto ), ECU, I think the ignitier as well.

Will my Auto Trans Hanress work with the manual trans and work correctly when spliced into the 7m hanress and the auto ecu I am getting, or do I need a M/T Ecu, and Hanress?

I have a small list of what I need to do the swap if I am forgetting anything let me know!

1jz Bell housing.
Harness spliced into a 7m harness
Auto trans ECU 1jz
New motor mounts
New IC piping.
Radiator + piping
Any splicing for the engine bay to the body harness in the engine bay?
Custom Exhaust

Thanks guys

This info is out there...

You will need to jump the neutral start switch on the auto harness, otherwise everything should work normally. You can ignore several of the wires when connecting everything to the body that are for auto only. There will be no issues with the auto ECU, because I have one and my car is 5 speed.

You will also need a 1jz flywheel, a map sensor, a fan solution depending on what you have on your engine (hydrofan/clutch fan/efan), a new pressure line for the power steering, and a throttle cable at the least.

You will need to wire some things in the engine bay, but there isn't alot of work that has to be done there.

Also, if your 1jz is from a supra, you shouldn't need new engine mounts, unless you want to replace the rubber part just to have new ones.

Ahh, I did forget about the map sensor thank you, there is no AFM on these 1jz correct? also the flywheel I should've have mentioned..

Well that is good news fro the Ecu I guess, and yes the neutral Safety switch, which you have to run if you have a 7m ECU and a auto ECu so that is also something I expected as well.
