I searched this forum and found only second hand (good) opinions, and I don't remember anybody here running BW turbo on 7M.
Maybe experts can shed some light on this subject, I know some mk4 guys use this turbo. I am interested how reliable this turbo to compare with ball bearing design. How well it stands to abuse of 2 step (anti-lag), again to compare with BB turbos
I know BW compressor wheels flow better to compare with Garrett wheels and support higher pressure ratios.
Is BW really come on boost as fast as Garrett? I understand it is difficult to compare apples to oranges, but maybe somebody may have opinion.
Forced Performance make HTA series of turbos, they take Garrett turbo and fit BW compressor wheel producing impressive results (as they claim)
http://store.forcedperformance.net/...oduct_Code=NTGT3582HTA&Category_Code=Turbo-FP
They do this only with smaller GT35 series, do you know any manufacturer doing same thing with bigger GT45 turbos?

Thanks in advance.

We have been using these turbos for years now and can tell you they are VERY reliable and take ALOT of beatings. We used these turbos on many rotary RACE cars running in the 7s using two steps and had VERY few failures running up to 60 PSI!!!!!!!! They spool FASTER than Garrett turbos and will work on a modified motor NO PROBLEM. We have one guy made over 900 RWHP on a 2JZ and another guy made 864 RWHP on a 1JZ or 1.5JZ not sure really. I definately plan on using one on my current build.
