New nissan GTR... pics and info

hey everyone,

I work at an audio shop in Orlando FL, and Saturday to my surprise a 2009 Nissan GTR rolled up. I talked to the guy for a few mins and I found out that it was only the second one sold in Florida so far and that it went for 80K. A few things on it that surprised me and that I liked were the carbon fiber under plating, two 6 1/2'' woofers in the center of the back seat, a touch screen that displays RPMs/Boost/and other gauges. The automatic shifter in the center with optional manual magnesium paddle shifters on the steering column. Along with stock 20'' rims and drilled rotors with brembo calipers, and of course the V6 twin turbo. Over all the car was amazing looking and Nissan turned out a great car.

Still looks like a 350 on steroids, but all said and done, even though it's a Nissan, I wouldn't say no to owning one

well we also do insurance inspections which is why he was there but he might come back for some other things.... he said the stock audio system wasnt up to par compared to the rest of the car.

I think it looks good, especially in black. The dash looks kinda weird, but its one hell of a car!!

i wonder if it will actually hit the 220 on the speedo... wouldnt surprise me if it did, 200 at least.

Nice car, but is it really worth 80k? There are many other really nice cars that you could get for that much $$$$. Correct me if I am wrong but I think the M6 is somewhere in that price range and IMO it is a much nicer car.

is it really worth 80k... who knows... although it is limited production, somewhere around 2400 i believe, and really if they want to pay for it, its worth it to them.

is it worth the price? most definately if you understood all the technology and electronics on it and compare it to most vehicles.

My local dealership is getting 2 of them for now.. one is already sold for $120k

My friend works there and said they have to get something like $200k worth of equipment just to sell the GTR's. The equipment is just an alignment rack, and nitrogen setup for the tires and maybe a diagnostic system i believe is what he told me.
