Anyone else have odd brake pad wear?

It looks to me like the leading edges of the inboard pads wore faster while it was the trailing edge of the out board pads that did the same. This happened to the pads on both sides of the car.

I come from a land down under
This is why good 4 piston callipers have staggered size pistons, it prevents the leading edge digging in and wearing on an angle.

Single piston floating callipers like the Mk3 ones aren't too bad until they begin to wear on the sliders, then they cock to the side.

yup...sounds like those 15+ year old calipers need to be replaced.

My fronts just recently showed signs of failure.

What a difference with new calipers. The car stops much much easier.
