You mean it sucks that he broke the law?
He should have known the risks when he bought the the car and he should have at least made half an effort to get it looking like a track car as he had a slight excuse for owning the car.

never quite saw the point of importing an entire skyline... sure there cool and all, but wouldnt it just be cheaper to fly to where they have them and race them there.
if i were him i would just throw it in storage though and say you trashed the car. hahaha

As much as that sucks for the owners, I always thought the Skyline was an overrated car. It never really made my blood boil so much as made me roll my eyes...
Wow sounds like they Customs is going to have a pretty big Skyline auction at some point. Sorry to hear for those guys, i don't like Skylines but you still have to feel bad for some to get their car taken legal or Illegal.

It is funny how people always say Ehh when talking about a skyline but shit their pants when the see one.. Any way skylines do suck But GTR's dont. If I had my choice of a GTR or a MK4 I would take a GTR in a second . I dont really like Mk4's . I like my Mk3 better..
Skylines are great cars...
But to be honest, the only thing that pertains to my interests is the engine.
The name as well as everything else *IS* overrated.
However, A high revving, well-designed inline six is not.

Legal here also just not as many . I know of four legal ones in washignton I R33 GTR and Three R32 Gtrs .... also know a few 180 that are fakes and a gtir that is a nx2000 lol

see. customs has a list of cars that are legal for importation. In short, the ONLY skyline that is legal is the R33 built from 1996-1998. The R32 is NOT on the list nor is it on the pending list either

GTR's are few and far between all i ever see is those gts-t skylines and there are aweful. i'm not a fan of the body lines at all. maybe a R34 but the r32's are ugly. and for any of you who have actually been in a skyline you know to appreciate how much nicer our supras are. skylines are so barebones and econo inside it isn't even funny.
