I may be considering going N/A-T and would love to see your engine bays.
No pros or cons, I would hate for this to become a hate thread...lol

N/A-T's.....Let's see what you got ! :naughty:

x87SUPRA87xPretty impressive he that set up in 1 day.
Any idea how the car actually ran using the GE electronics and at what boost level?
-frank
im sorry, i was mistaken...he did that in 2.5 days for the total conversion to turbo electronics.

From what i remember he said the car did not 100% on the GE electronics, thats why he switched them over...from what ive heard its still running good as can be today. maybe he will chime in, he normally doesnt post too much though

1 day, 2.5 days, who's countin' right?
I hear lots of bad things regarding the use of GE electronics in turbo conversions anyway, so I think if keeping the GE head and block it would be wise to use the GTE elec's. I know that swapping the entire motor/trans is more cheap and I think more time saving. I really want something that will be decent as a daily driver(weather permitting) and a good project for those winter months.
-Besides, a N/A-T is more of a symbol that the NA motors can still be built up enough and that is what makes it more valuable to me, and it's not that common to see, it's individuality that counts.
