nut size on the compressor side? What socket do you get to take it off? Just installed an upgraded ct26 and it does not spin until you rev it up so could the nut possibly be to tight?

and how else to you get experiance... start somewhere right? there's enough info from MDC to get anyone with any technical knowledge successfully through a rebuild. Hell I used the same thread for my first rebuild. (professionals are always recommended, but if you want to undertake it i'll be the last to say no)
Can you spin it with your fingers? If it doesnt spin at all during idle then i would guess your wastegate is stuck open.
Does it feel like it's hard to spin? I wouldn't mess with it if you aren't experienced. I tried that once back in high school with my DSM and the nut came off while I was driving. Needless to say, it bounced around in there and fuct the blades to hell.
I can spin it with my fingers but it does not feel as easy to spin as my stock ct. The thing looks brand new.
