Well, unfortunately, you may have heard, the lunies have the keys to the "big car"!:aigo: The Republicans got their asses handed to them, or did they? The House dems have 11-12 more seats, and the Senate, a two seat majority. We now get a chance, to see the Democrats try and "right" the ship. They have two years, the clock is ticking.
This will be interesting. Will they work with the President, for the good of the nation? Or, will they waste our tax dollars, with all kinds of investigory panels and inquiries, to try and find "the smoking gun", that would give rise to impeachment hearings???
It's going to be very interesting! I'm sure the presidents "veto pen" is going to be busy.:icon_razz

When taking history into account, the dems actualy did realy shitty. 6th year midterms have always been massive party turnovers. This election it's basicly back to 50/50 and the dems barely won the seats they did in very tight races. The dems that did win played the "you can trust me, I'm actualy a conservative democrat" card.

It will be very interesting to see how this plays out.

I hope they fail miserably and the people of this country FINALLY realize that the republicans AND the democrats need to be ousted from politics.

I'm not sure who we'd replace them with?!:icon_conf But, one would have to believe that the republican's loss, is partly due to the backlash from true "conservatives", whom were very upset,:icon_mad: with this administrations "spend thrift" ways.

Haha, yeah that's the only problem. But the two current parties are too comfortable in the fact that they KNOW either dems or repubs will be elected into major positions

Oh no doubt about that. They did it to themselves..but I was really hoping that the democrats wouldn't win
